BCSHS Celebrates NWMC 2022 with



The 2022 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) was celebrated by Baybay City Senior High School (BCSHS) through the greening movement and health fitness activities which were participated by the teaching and non-teaching personnel of the school on the 30th of March 2022 – Wednesday.

The theme of the NWMC for 2022 is “AGENDA NG KABABAIHAN TUNGO SA KAUNLARAN”. Thus, BCSHS chose to celebrate the NWMC by promoting the greening movement planting trees inside the campus. The event coordinator, Emily Tabudlong, Department Head of General Academics, said that the activity brings into focus the role of women in environmental conservation and protection.

The said event was supported, supervised, and participated by the School Head, Roger O. Lingatong, Principal IV; the Assistant Principal Estela A. Suarez; and, Ma’am Olimphia H. Caminade, a teacher specialist in agriculture of the TVL Department gave technical assistance on the planting of trees.

Each department were assigned areas where to plant the trees. Students who specialized in agriculture were also involved in the activity.

In the afternoon a Zumba Fitness session was organized at the BCSHS Gymnasium. The Zumba was led by Arts and Design dance specialist Teacher Glyzel Ann PaciƱo with Teacher Deodato Flandez of Baybay 1 Central Elementary School.

BCSHS ABM STUDENT QUALIFIES FOR NATIONAL ABM CUP 2022



A thing to Celebrate before the end of March!


One of the students in Baybay City Senior High School made it as a National Qualifier of the Kingfisher ABM Cup 2022 during the elimination round on March 28, 2022 – Monday.

Rafael L. Simpron, a grade 12 student of Accountancy, Business, and Management qualified for the national round. He was coached by Stephen Alexeus Baltazar, a faculty of ABM Department.

 


The theme of the ABM Cup 2022 is: “Information System: Accountancy as a Building Block of Academic Excellence through Competitive Experience” presented by the Kingfisher ABM Organization in collaboration with Kingfisher JPIA.

The team was provided with the necessary facilities for their training and participation by the school administration through the support of Roger O. Lingatong, School Principal IV.

Even in the midst of bad weather and an unstable internet connection, it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the team to perform their best according to Teacher Stephen Alexeus Baltazar.

Lingatong; Assistant School Principal Ma’am Estela Suarez; and of course, to our ABM Department Head Ma’am Ann Modina Arias for encouraging us to excel in our field” Teacher Baltazar added. “Thank you very much Ma’am Kenneth Mae Sinadjan for helping us with the requirements of the Quiz Bowl. Thank you to all my colleagues in the ABM Department for all the motivation and solid support”.

Training Young Agri-preneurs



Baybay City Senior High School provides good quality learning experiences to students in TVL specializing in Agriculture. These are snaps of a hands-on activity of agriculture Teacher Olimphia, with her students.

This activity is one  of many that are closely supervised and supported by the active BCSHS School Head, Mr. Roger Lingatong, the Asst. Principal, Estela A. Suarez, and the Head of the TVL Dept. Teacher Beth Catherine M. Dongon.
